FeSiMn is a ferroalloy that is used as an alloying agent and deoxidizer in steel production. COMPOSITION : Atypical commercial grade of FeSiMn is 62.5 % manganese , 22.5 % silicon, and less than 3.5 % carbon.PRODUCTION : FeSiMn is made from manganese ore., quartz, and iron ore. COpper smelting slag can also be used as a substitute for some of the iron and quartz.USES : FeSiMn is used to deoxidize molten steel and to improve the strength, hardness, and resistance to wear and corrosion of steel.
