Low carbon silico manganese is a ferroalloy used in steelmaking as a deoxidizer and alloying agent. It’s made up of manganese, silicon, carbon, phosphorus, sulfur, and iron. silicon – 13-17 %, carbon-2.5 % max, Manganese – 60-65 % , Phosphorus – 0.30 % MAX, Sulfur – 0.05 % max.. Low carbon silico manganese can appear as blackish brown or silver white particles or lumps.
